Angler, 86, reels in huge yellowfin haul

The headline looks OK, till you look at the article. This 86 year old, fishing off one of San Diego's long range charter boat caught 6 tuna all over 100kg (200lb). A very good feat for a man of that age.

But think on it a bit - it is at least 600kg (1200lb) of tuna.

It gets worse, the 23 anglers on the boat kept 220 tuna, that is as near as damnit 10 fish each! Just how much total fish was taken by weight is not revealed, but it was revealed that 82 of the fish were over 100kg (200lb). What the hell could they do with all that fish? Sell it at the wharf maybe?

Looks like so called amateur fishermen are trying to emulate their cousins on American Tuna fleets raping the Tuna fishery.
